Shaping meatballs the easy way.
When I make my favorite spaghetti and meatballs recipe, shaping the meatballs can be a bit messy. Here's a shortcut I found- Use an ice cream scoop or a cookie scoop to shape them. Saves time and the hands stay cleaner. The cookie scoop I use is made by OXO Good Grips. They come in three sizes: Small- 2 teaspoons; Medium- 1.5 tablespoons; and Large- 3 tablespoons, so you can easily choose your meatball (or cookie) size. If you have a large-size scoop you can also make hamburger patties this way- scoop the meat, then flatten with a spatula. *smile*
